Signs and Symptoms of a Stroke*

Calling 9-1-1 is typically the fastest way to get lifesaving treatment. Seconds count! If you aren't sure have it checked out. Fast action saves lives. Do not wait more than 5 minutes to call 9-1-1.
Emergency medical services staff can begin treatment when they arrive — up to one hour sooner than if someone gets to the hospital by car.
